ΑΚΕΚ004 Unwinding drum base

The Evik reel unwinding base has been developed for cable reels up to Ø1200mm and
a weight of up to 250kg, suitable for industrial and non-industrial environments.

The sides, made from 3mm thick steel, galvanized or with electrostatic paint, are bent
for additional rigidity, providing durability and stability.

The front of the base features a 40x40x4mm steel profile, which serves as a
ramp/step, while the rear includes a tube for enhanced structural stability, which also
functions as a carrying handle.

The base is equipped with two galvanized steel rollers, featuring high-quality bearings,
a steel Ø10mm shaft, and side guards to keep the reel secured within the structure.

Although the front roller is fixed, it can be removed by pressing one end, which has a
spring, while the rear roller, thanks to its smart, ergonomic design for easy distance
adjustment, offers flexibility across a wide range of settings: 150, 225, 240, 300, and
330mm.

The base is equipped with an integrated pin/brake for easy and safe lowering of the
reel.

Optional rubber feet are available for additional stability or adaptation to uneven
surfaces.

Usage

For unwinding and winding cable reels. Adjust the roller distance according to the reel
diameter, roll the reel, and use the steel profile to position it inside.

Before lowering the reel, insert the pin to brake the front roller.

The base has two galvanized steel roller side guards to delimit the rotor within the structure.

The front roller is fixed and is removed by pressing one end that has a spring.

The rear, thanks to its ergonomic design and easy distance adjustment, offers freedom of movement in a wide range of settings: 150, 225, 240, 300 and 330mm
